  Plan

🚃 Public transport

App Store                   Google Play

  • Getting to the campus from the city centre or from your hotel. The recommended hotels are generally located along tram line A, which is the easiest way to reach the campus.

Allow about 15 to 20 minutes from Place de Jaude, and 30 to 35 minutes by tram from the Montferrand district for the most distant hotels.
  • Getting to the city centre from the SNCF railway station,  from the airport or from the bus station

✈️ From the airport, line B provides access to the city centre, in particular the Place de Jaude area.

🚂 At the railway station, use the "centre-ville / avenue de l'Union soviétique" exit and take line B towards Royat pl. Allard.

🚌 If you come by bus, you will probably arrive at Clermont-Ferrand bus station, located on Avenue de la Libération, close to Place des Salins and a tram stop.
  • Getting to some hotels which are located in the Montferrand district. The district is served by tram line A.

➡️ See the public transport network map to find the right connection from your arrival point.

🥗 Lunch catering

  • For participants who choose to purchase meal tickets as part of the event, lunches will be provided by an independent caterer working with local producers and prioritizing fresh, seasonal ingredients. Each day, several full menus (starter, main course, dessert) will be offered, including one or more vegetarian options. A buffet of fresh salads will also be available as a starter.

  • For participants who have meetings between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. (SFdS council, youth groups, etc.) arranged in advance with the organizing committee, the meals reserved during registration will automatically be converted into boxed lunches.

🥳 Local tips

  • For dinner or an evening walk, the two most convenient areas are Place de Jaude and the historic centre around the cathedral. This is where you will find most of the city-centre restaurants, terraces and bars, as well as several places to discover local Auvergne specialities.🧀
